This beautiful Lavender Field Wedding took place at the Purple Haze Lavender Farm in Sequim Washington. As an avid lavender fan myself I absolutely loved capturing this day, and all the tiny details that they included with the lavender in the decorations. If you are looking to have your own lavender farm wedding amidst fields of purple and violet flowers then keep on reading!

The dreamiest wedding day details

The bride and groom had separate getting ready locations so they could keep the first look special. The groom had his getting ready spot at a beautiful cabin nearby the venue with all his groomsmen, while the bride got ready in one of the getting ready suites that was available at the venue surrounded by her bridal party. Her mother helped her into her dress and afterwards we were able to get some beautiful solo portraits of her in the lavender fields.

First Look at the Willow Tree

The bride and groom had their first look by the willow tree near the bride’s getting ready suite on the lavender farm. It was really meaningful to them to have a first look so they could truly cherish a moment alone together before they were swept up in the excitement and festivities of the day. It also meant they were able to do all their wedding party photos together before the ceremony so that after the ceremony they only needed to take family photos and were able to enjoy more time with their guests.

Sunlit Ceremony with family and friends

The Ceremony for this lavender field wedding took place with the fields behind the couple, and rustic doors as their backdrop and lavender surrounding them. Their guests had an amazing view of both the couple and the fields of lavender behind them.

Golden Hour Portraits Amidst Fields of Lavender

The family photos took place after the ceremony and signing of the marriage license, so the bride and groom were able to soon get back to their guests and enjoying some dinner and dancing! Later in the evening we snuck them away at golden hour for couples portraits and it was sooo dreamy!! I love giving my couples action based prompts so they always feel like they have something to do in front of the camera, and that way I can also capture some truly beautiful candid moments between the two of them as they enjoy some time together as newlyweds.

Lavender Decor For the reception

Their reception took place on the farm in a tented area in the shade, with so many yummy lavender desserts and a buffet dinner table for their guests. The picnic tables were laid out beautifully and there was a space for dancing where everyone joined in! They had their first dance in front of all their friends and family and took some more photos with their guests in the rows of lavender.
